One day a bunch of Wiley Politicians, some of whom had done some bad things and were trying to avoid discovery and prosecution, which would mean an instant drop in privileges, got together and decided to visit the Magic Impeachment Fairy who looked after the Magic Impeachment Tree.
And the Magic Impeachment Fairy comforted them in their hour of great need and said, "Worry no longer. Your days of having foreboding presentiments of the future are over. Dread ye not! Here is my Magical Impeachment Tree! Pick as much of the fruit that hangeth heavy laden upon the branches as you can possibly gather and every time you make a speech give an interview or put something out for public consumption on the internet, throw the fruit which has the magical word impeach running through it in the Presidents direction, and all tho most of them will not stick there is one fruit of all the harvest you see upon my tree that will hit the mark and stick and then your work will be done for the President will be impeached and you may sleep peacefully in your beds and celebrate raucously in your houses and on your beautiful estates."
So the Wily Politicians laughed and celebrated there and then that they had found the answer to their problem and gathered as much fruit as they possibly could and set off with much lighter hearts to their next round of interviews and speeches.
And as they left the Magic Impeachment Fairy rubbed its hands with glee because the two things Fairies really like doing is exposing Blatant Stupidity and rewarding Wisdom and Common Sense and the Magic Fairy knew the Wily Politicians were about to show themselves up for the unprincipled nonsense gushers they truly were because none of the Wily Politicians had thought to ask the Impeachment Fairy for the Magical Proof of Misconduct Fruit that nestled happily at the top of the tree and without which the rest of the fruit was a pitiful but nonetheless very funny joke upon any who picked it.
As for the Wily Politicians, why they threw that fruit for all they were worth, so much so that for many of them their brain just fogged up and died from lack of real use leaving a note saying "I never had a chance," so that all that was left was one tape continuously running saying Impeach! Impeach! And the Magical Impeachment Fairy threw its head back and laughed so hard and so much it nearly knocked the Magical Proof Fruit from the top of the tree and Impeached itself.
And all the nice people laughed and clapped their hands to see Real Magic come back into the world to do its wonderful work of showing up the brain dead and unprincipled, and waited for the Justice System to take them away.
Mainly for their own sake.
